In its first participation in ArPa 2024, Nara Roesler is presenting a selection of new works by Manoela Medeiros (Rio de Janeiro, 1991). In her poetic investigation, which combines concepts of expanded painting with installation elements, Medeiros treats her support not as something smooth and finished, but rather as something made up of entrails and layers, of different natures and textures.
