The solo presentation showcases Julien's Lessons of the Hour—Frederick Douglass (2019), a video installation—made up of ten screens—created in homage to one of the most important activists of the USA. The work offers a poetic version of Frederik Douglass' biography, an African American, whose political and intellectual endeavors played a fundamental part in the US' civil rights movement during the twentieth century. The exhibition also includes photographic stills of the film.
