The exhibition Stayin’ Alive works as a political commentary on the environmental crisis that we are facing. The show presents works by various artists from different generations and regions, in a strive to bring attention to the issue, juxtaposing paintings created in the beginning of the nineteenth-century and contemporary pieces, and thus expanding the conceptual and perceptual definition of the environment. Stayin’ Alive, a reference to the Bee Gees' famous song, notably includes works by artists Alberto Baraya and Marcos Chaves.
