The exhibition presents 24 works by the blindfolded artist between the years 1959 and 1962. The light in Tomie Ohtake's work traveled between the excess and the tenuity, between the constructiveness of the color by the shadow and the deprivation of the look like risk operational approach that approached darkness and blindness of the production process of the look. The artist traces the path of light by extremes. Between the exhaustive presence and the absolute lack of it, in a world of interlacings of shadows, blindness, full luminosity and color vibration that reveal the conceptual apparatus that ties its trajectory, in which the set of these paintings stands out.
