Laura Vinci and Daniel Senise attend the Coimbra Biennial, which opens in early November and closes December 29. The biennial, whose theme is “The Third Margin” (title of the short story by Brazilian João Guimarães Rosa), has the participation of 39 artists from 21 countries, in a selection that sought to contemplate different generations, with a focus on young and emerging artists who will share the space with established names. The proposal of the curator, Agnaldo farias, is a young biennial in which it is fundamental to irritate; “Many works will bother, many works will not be understood and many works will irritate visitors,” says the curator.
