Initiating the celebrations for the centenary of the Week of 22, an emblematic event of Brazilian Modernism, the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB-RJ), in Rio de Janeiro, hosts 'Brasilidade Pós-Modernismo', curated by Tereza de Arruda. Among the 51 artists from different generations participating in the exhibition is Berna Reale, whose works are part of the "Identity" section, one of the six that integrates the exhibition. The selection of works aims to lead us to think about the legacy of Modernism in the country from the point of view of its contemporary production. For the curator, this “is not an exhibition designed as an endpoint, but as a starting point, as it was the Modern Art Week of 1922, aiming to create innovative discussion that are able to meet the demands of our time being aware of the guided future path by creative protagonists”.
