Xavier Veilhan was invited by Virginie Viard, creative director of CHANEL to create a visual universe for the brand's new spring summer collection, including designing the setting for the show, which took place at the Grand Palais Éphémère, in Paris, yesterday.
The author-composer Sébastien Tellier performed a series of new tracks composed for the occasion and played using oversized instruments, including the Cristal Baschet, a rare crystal organ from Studio Venezia, created by Veilhan in 2017 as part of an immersive recording studio designed for the French Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.
