The ÍDEM International Festival of Performing Arts brings together, from September 10 to 30, international works that have a social and political impact, addressing issues such as care, the community, the sensory world, the journey, disability, the encounter between bodies and their positions.
Brazilian artist Jonathas de Andrade, representative of the Brazilian pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale opens the festival with a video installation shown for the first time in Spain. Olho da Rua is a work filmed in two days with 100 homeless people; a powerful testimony of contemporary Brazil, with its rich multiculturalism and its structural inequalities.
