La Casa del Decorador: la revolución de la vida diaria, is a solo exhibition by Marco A. Castillo, curated by Dorothée Dupuis, that takes place in a modernist house in the Colonia Roma Sur, never before open to the public, presenting new works by Marco A. Castillo’s research on the utopia of Cuban design from the early years of the revolution.
On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition, on February 10th, at 12pm, alongside Fernando Laposse, Laura Mott, Abel González Fernández
e Dorothee Dupuis, Castillo will participate in the public lecture “Design, Politics, and Art: Dangerous Liaisons”.
This project, carried out in a partnership between Nara Roesler, Albarrán Bourdais and KOW, and with special thanks to Marcos Ruiz, will remain on view through February 11.
