The Artium Institute of Culture and Nara Roesler are pleased to present Parcours, a solo exhibition by Xavier Veilhan, one of the leading names in contemporary French art. Featuring around 30 works created over the past decade, the exhibition reveals the artist's fascination with the intersection of modernity and classicism, exploring themes such as speed, movement, and urban life. Through contemporary portraits of iconic figures like Quincy Jones and Le Corbusier, the artist blends traditional techniques with digital tools, creating representations that hover between the real and the abstract.

The exhibition also highlights Veilhan's famous mobiles, which become interactive elements in the exhibition space, allowing the environment and object to transform together. With an aesthetic that plays with movement and interaction, these works reflect the artist's poetic approach to creating objects with “life.” Additionally, the exhibition includes his recent abstract explorations, influenced by Futurism and Op Art, with compositions that innovatively explore lines and primary colors.

Another highlight is the Cocardes series, derived from the set design of Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2023 Haute Couture show, which incorporated the artist's sculptures into the event’s backdrop.
