Thiago Barbalho is currently participating in the Further On Artist-in-Residence (FOAIR) program, an initiative created by Christina and Alan MacDonald to support contemporary artists.
FOAIR welcomes artists from a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, architecture, video, and photography, and brings together practitioners from around the world. During his time in the Hamptons, Barbalho is developing new work while engaging with the region’s natural landscapes and artistic legacy. The residency also fosters connections with the local cultural community.
As part of the program, the artist’s studio will be open to the public on July 26, from 3:30 to 6:30pm.
