Opening on July 12, at the Daegu Art Museum the first solo exhibition by Daniel Buren organized by a public museum in South Korea. This is also the first time that Buren's film "Out of Time, Out of Sight" and his large-scale installation "Like Child's Play" will be on view in Asia!
Daniel Buren has been a leading name in conceptual art since the 1960s, and he is best known for using symmetrical, contrasting maxi stripes that integrate visual surfaces and architectural spaces, notably in historical landmarks, challenging conventional notions of where art can be seen and how it can be understood.
