Berna Reale presents Ruídos, her solo exhibition curated by Silas Marti, on display until March 10 at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Brasília.
The show presents a cross-section of the artist's production from 2009 to 2023, which includes works in photography, objects, performance, painting and video. In the words of the curator: "The exhibition deals with the central element of #BernaReale's work: The breakdown of expectation, order and harmony. His works are all based on powerful contrasts, on the one hand the pop, colorful look, which can refer to advertising aesthetics or even the exaggerations of the baroque, and on the other, a sharp social criticism, the denunciation of the precariousness and violence of Brazil."
On the occasion of the opening, on January 16 at 7pm, there will be a talk about the exhibition, with the participation of the artist and the curator.
