Precisão e Acaso, José Patrício´s individual exhibition curated by Felipe Scovino, presents about 40 relatively recent works in which the artist explores other materials (buttons, plastic puzzle pieces, dice, nails), going beyond the dominoes that have become an icon within their production. The exhibition, seen by the curator as an anthology, highlights the process of the creation of Patrício, who is always part of a rule, formulating a kind of "method". But despite this precision, the end result is unknown, it is chance. Precisão e Acaso is an exhibition in itinerancy, passing through the Museu do Estado de Pernambuco (MEPE) in Recife between July and September 2017 and the National Museum of the Republic in Brasilia between July and August 2018.
