Thirteen artists represented by Galeria Nara Roesler take part in the collective exhibition Ateliê de Gravura: da tradição à experimentação, curated by Eduardo Haesbaert at Fundação Iberê Camargo. The show gathers works by more than 90 artists – among them Angelo Venosa, Antonio Dias, Carlito Carvalhosa, Cristina Canale, Daniel Senise, Fábio Miguez, José Patrício, Karin Lambrecht, León Ferrari, Lucia Koch, Marcos Chaves, Paulo Bruscky e Tomie Ohtake – who took part in Programa Artista Convidado (Guest Artist Program) in the institution's engraving studio. The program started in 2001 and invites artists with national or international projection, not necessarily used to the engraving technique, to develop engraving projects in the studio, where the press which belonged to Iberê Camargo works. More than 100 brazilian and foreign artists took part in the project, with different backgrounds and ways of expression, enabling a process of experimentation that reveals their particular poetics through various techniques, such as monotype, plotting, serigraphy and photogravure, among other graphic possibilities.
