Elian Almeida is one of the fifteen artists participating in the exhibition Nova Vanguarda Carioca, which opens today, January 8, at Cidade das Artes, in Rio de Janeiro.

Curated by Gringo Cardia, the show brings together works by an emerging generation of artists who, in their practices, deal with issues related to identity, social roots and territories.

In the exhibition, the works of the 15 participating artists will be presented in 20 panels of 6 meters high that will occupy the Praça-Pilotis of the cultural complex. The panels were exhibited for the first time in November 2021, at Copacabana Palace, during the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Tiffany & Co. in Brazil (images)
