Utopias e Distopias opens to the public today, September 7, at MAM Bahia including works by Raul Mourao, Berna Reale, Carlito Carvalhosa, Jose Patricio, Marcos Chaves and Paulo Bruscky.⁠

According to curator Daniel Rangel, the group show aims to “to promote a dialogue between the collection of MAM-Bahia and Brazilian contemporary art, as an act of poetic reflection in a moment in which Democracy, the Constitution, Institutions and Freedom of Expression are being threatened”.⁠
